the strength of hwatai is turbo diesel., we have compact and midsizes.
imagine exora 2.0 TDI, or persona replacement TDI, saga diesel,
or hwatai big sedan with proton badge. also hwatai NEO cfe for chinese. or hwatai exola.

Saga s16 crash test
Side body airbags
ISOfix rear
if these fitted it will be a 4 star
Bro awak.
Tambah ESP jer x silap boleh add 1 star dah. Tapi sebab standart crash test dah berubah, maybe tambah curtain airbags, isofax, ESP, abd, ebd, and bebd should get and extra marks..
agak2 bila proton boleh capai 5 star dlm crash test ni ye..Dulu pun waja dpt 3 star juga dgn euroncap. Dan walaupun waja dpt 3 star, ia masih boleh dikategorikan satu pencapaian yg baik bg proton kerana pd waktu tu, tak byk kereta yg mampu capai 5 star. Tapi sekarang, kebanyakan kereta dgn mudah dpt 5 star walaupun small mini compact car.
i think i dont mind if proton take thiss b11 as its luxury model, its not that bad provided if it comply with safety standard, be it a diesel turbo with low price while TD engine makes a very potent fleet. the interior is quite cosy as well.
proton designer can alter its face into more tigerish to suit proton concept. no bentley grille.
since proton will have its own suv, just forget the hwatai cayene.
to rebadge a Chinese car (except for new Youngman SUV which was developed by Proton), for time being, it’s not a good idea due to general thinking of low quality products. It’s better to rebadge a japanesse car such like what P1 plan to rebadge Nissan to replace discontinued Perdana. I believe P1 is going to explore the diesel engine and might swap with rebadge a Proton car. Furthermore, I think they are also looking for partners to fund the development of P1 new engine as current sales/demand are not viable to produce new engine. It’s now common for OEM car manufacturers to work together in developing new global engine. This my due kupang ajer..
