    • ada showcar tak? proton kena buat video dokumentari atau short story the making of proton cars.. start dari idea, seketching, clay model, prototyppe, testing & pemasangan.. kalau buat video pasal behind the scene EMAS ok gak, tunjuk la skit macam ne proton & italdesign buat kereta ni..


  • Sy tgh smbil2 mengelap showcar la ni.. Bab tu tgu je.. Skrg proton tgh serap budak2 muda masuk bhgian marketing n department lain2.. Ada 2org bdk ni 3hr dia training dgn sy.. Nnt diorg da msuk company tau la diorg nak marketing cara org muda..

    Harap lepas ni ada clip extreme test drive Persona R kat jalan Bukit Putus. Pastikan ada kamera on board dan ada bunyi tayar dan bunyi enjin dengan jelas..


    • Bab Exora tu, betul bro. Kalau ada anak2, menjerit bagai nam giler semua. itu anak, belum ibunyer. Saya tengok pun takut tapi mmg badan die x buang walaupun laju mcm tu. Kalau kereta yg saya pakai sekarang bro, x sempat dah. Tunggu ambulan datang jer la.

        Actually saya beratus kali dah berbunyi tayar. Saya x tahu kenapa tapi setiap kali saya buat selekoh around 40-60km/j, tayar start berbunyi. Dlm parking bertingkat lagi la, Corner sikit pun berbunyi mcm org drift. Ada problem ker a kereta saya nh..


      • Bro dah try drive kereta lain dalam corner yg sama? Different car – different character.

        Tapi kalau angle masa attack corner terlalu kecil pun boleh menyebabkan tayar berbunyi/oversteer (bagi FWD). Cuma jangan amalkan selalul. Foremen saya kata boleh rosak driveshaft.

        Kalau atas lantai simen, tayar mudah berbunyi. Permukaan simen kurang friction.


      • Saya pernah bawa Gen2. X berbunyi. Tapi baru sebulan lepas ganti besi aper ntah mcm pin dekat driftshaft ngan tayar. Dah bengkok. Lepas ganti kurang bunyi la. Sebelum ganti, setiap selekoh besar mesti berbunyi.

        Tapi mungkin attack corner kecil kot. Sebab taiping nh, jln shortcut semua bengkang bengkok. Lagipun mungkin laju sangat kot.


  • kalau ada satria neo cps, confirm paling stabil sekali, on the limit semua kereta tu buat slalom kat 80km/h, proton persona r dgn ESP boleh digunakan proton utk buat defensive driving


    • either LOTUS or PROTON handling, both are meant for balanced ride comfort and handling of a street car, if we want to go a bit serious on handling we have to go to the next level of R3 tuning both engine and suspension, by R3 division.

      besides that the rigid chassis does contribute to a composed handling of the proton cars. so proton cars are the well off chassis package that people translate it into a word ‘sedap’.

      saga flx is a good example of how proton is serious in further improving both power-train ,transmission as well as the handling quality of proton cars. and we believe this will continue all in 2012 with the introduction of batter engine improvement offering in protons model .


  • Selalu kita cakap pasal ride and handling sesebuah kenderaan tp selalunya ayat yang selalu kita dengar “dipandu oleh pemandu Profesional”,Cuma sy nak tekankan disini sehebat mana ride and handling kereta tu klau pemandunya x improve driving skill..hmmmmm..”susah mau cakaplah”


    • road manner is separate thing. its about up bringing, education and awareness.
      give them kancil or evo10 ,its just turns havoc with the lack of good inner values.

      wise man has a harmonic relationship between him and his machine. understanding the character the potential and the limit of the car enables one to master a fast and safe machine.

      untuk mnjawab soalan bro, ada satu vid kt youtube sorang pempuan australian yg pregnant drive persona malam2 pegi hospital nak beranak..

      klu tgok mmg tak logik dia boleh bwk mcm tu.. tp motif video tu nak mengatakn ‘proton ride handling’ mmg di cipta utk untuk pemanduan lebih mudah (khas utk org yg kuang cekap memandu).

      so kesimpulan nye ‘proton ride handling’ tidak semestinya memerlukan pemandu yg profesional atau yg sewaktu dgnya.. proton ride handling is all about response & stable..

        maaf klau tersalah,betul kereta PROTON mmg mempunyai Ride&handling yang baik,aku pun pengguna PROTON Waja.tapi aku biasa/selalu tgok atas jalan ramai pemandu tidak mengunakan kelebihan yg ada pada kereta tersebut,masih ramai lagi terkial2 lagi masuk selekoh dalm keadaan perlahan.Cuma aku rasa rugi klau mempunyai kenderaan yang hebat tp driving skill kita masih ditahap menghampakan.

      • mmg waja tu bgus ride and handlingnya. cuma kdgkala2 tak semua pemiliknya senggara kete tu dgn baik. better terkial2 kat selekoh dari terbabas sbb. kecuaian diri sndiri. cheers

        saya x bermaksud suruh bawak laju atau mcm org gila,cuma selalulah sy tgok bila time jln lurus laju,nak masuk corner dh sibuk main break,ketepi ketengah cari line yang betul nak masuk corner,kan bahaya mcm tu!!saya pun bukan kaki layan corner sangat cuma pemandu biasa jer.


      • pemandu mcm tu mmg bahayakan pemandu lain. Terkial2 nak kekiri kekanan, last2 boleh brek kecemasan kat tengah2 jalan. Kalau berdentum, deorg salahkan kiter pulak. Tapi berdasarkan pemerhatian saya, banyak pemandu mcm nh adalah Chinese Aunty with big expensive car. Sometime cheap car also la.


  • yes i agree sometimes people are less looking into servicing the suspension components especially the multi-links like bush replacements. steering rack end or ball joints , shock absorbers. those could lead to uneven tire wear, uncomfortable sound and steer problem which also leads to handling deterioration.

    and, yes chor we here are proton enthusiast, you and i and we, exploring and enjoying the limits of proton cars with joy.


  • betul kata naz,proton@lotus ride n handling bkn bermaksud utk kita bwk gila babas,tp sebenarnya safety features,easy to drive n useful in such situation mcm emergency nak beranak. Xnaklah dlm emergency nak ke hospital,masuk parit dulu xsempat g spital. Itu bg org biasa mcm saya,bg true driver plak, suka exploit kete to its limit. Mcm2 bleh buat utk dpt handling bgs,yg susah camne nk bg balance ride dgn handling. Xnaklah handling bgs,tp ride mcm naik kuda,xpasal2 terberanak sblm masuk spital,xgitu kwn2 🙂


  • xsilap denlah,ride n handling nih kira active safety. Yg abs, esp n sbagainya passive safety, yg hanya berfungsi bila masa tertentu ajer, ride n handling sepanjang masa pemanduan. Maaf klu slh.


    • kalu saya. saya lagi suka proton ada identiti sendiri.. comfort.. best in handling.. .balance antara dua… at least bila jadi global car… takdelah pengkritik autombil nak sama kereta kita dengan kereta lain… ” unique characteristic”

      bila drive jer kereta lain yg ada ride and handling.. org akan relate ke kereta proton.. kan sedap sikit telinga mendengar dan hati merasa bangga… rasa itu arah tujuan proton…. coz bila nak kejar comfort handling terjejas and vise versa. mcm citreon ada magic carpet ride… honda dengan High Power NA engine… proton ada Ride and Handling…bangga tak bangga tu….
