Adakah ini rekaan terbaru yang berkaitan dengan Lotus City Car (Ethos) / Proton Global Small Car (EMAS)? Jika diperhatikan rekaannya lebih “fluidic” & tidak lebih dari sebuah kereta konsep semata-mata. Tetapi jika “styling cues” dari lakaran ini diambil & dimasukkan dalam elemen styling Lotus City Car (Ethos) / Proton Global Small Car (EMAS), sudah pastinya model ini bakal menjadi perhatian dunia.

Sedikit info mengenai Lotus World Car Concept ini :-

  2. Berat 1,150 lbs
  3. Pecutan dari 0 ke 60 mph dalam masa 8-9 saat
  4. Top speed 120 mph
  5. Tayar bersaiz 155/80R13
  6. Penjimatan minyak 84 dalam bandar & 127 di lebuhraya

  • 3+1 seating, last rear seat is optional. good enough sebenarnya dlm latest research of how many people commute in inner city area/limit. in term of if bringing this concept to production bole consider lagi dimension yg di bazirkan pada side itu sendiri. dari concept yg current di keluarkan utk such car as this ia nya mmg menetapi future commuting reading di mana konsep seperti ini logic dan mampu jual dlm masa 10thn akan datang 😀


    • Dah sah research utk UK/Europe. Kat sini, biasanya 2 org aje max.

      Cuma kat sini, org beli kereta kena pikir keluarga. Itu sememangnya sifat org Asia yg mempunyai hubung kait keluarga yg lebih rapat berbanding dgn Omputeh kat London. Bagi diaorg station wagon utk keluarga dah cukup. Sini berbeza, kita nak MPV pasal keluarga sendiri lebih besar, keluarga extended lagi bertambah-tambah. Balik kampung bawak tilam bantal.

      Ada pula yg simpan Estima kat rumah, pergi kerja naik kapcai aje. Sepupu saya macam tu ler. Pasal dia kerja construction, senang keluar masuk. Omputeh tak boleh pakai kapcai pergi kerja ke? Ish!!! Pandai lak kita nak mengajor diaorg…Sedangkan motor tu lebih jimat minyak, parking…

      Jadi, kereta ni lebih sesuai utk bandar yg ada congestion tax macam London. Jadi, patut kah dipanggil Global Small Car?


    • practical, daily driving and people who really commute in car even right now are only 2 or 3 people, the last 4th person is considered optional and that space can be used as cargo area. plus the extra room at the 1st row seat (the driver seat) can be greatly used for small baggage such as ur daily mart spending, ur school bag or laptop, a dslr bag, even a small golf set is still practical to be placed there.

      the above design is just a concept, there are many area that this design can be improved for production such as the wasted area of the side body. the key element of this concept is to save room which is to make the car smaller, efficient and yet with a better styling not just like K-cars which is too boxy years ago.
