Sempena Karnival Jualan Proton yang berlangsung di Auto City, Juru, Pulau Pinang ketika ini, Proton memperkenalkan dua varian baharu Satria Neo Standard 4AT dan Proton Inspira Super Premium. Timbalan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Proton, Dato’ Lukman Ibrahim telah menyempurnakan majlis pelancaran kedua-dua model tersebut pada hari pertama karnival.
Satria Neo Standard 4AT ini dipadankan dengan kit badan penuh R3, rim aloi bersaiz 16 inci, R3 Wheel Arches, lampu kabus hadapan dan Sill Moulding. Neo ini masih mengekalkan enjin yang sama 1.6 Campro CPS dengan kotak gear 4-kelajuan automatik. Harga yang ditawarkan adalah RM54,513.50 (solid) dan RM54,963.50 (metalik). Didatangkan dengan pilihan warna GTi Silver, Tranquility Black, Solid White dan Fire Red, pembelian Satria Neo Standard 4AT turut menerima jaminan selama dua tahun atau 50,000km (yang mana terlebih dahulu).
Bagi model Proton Inspira Super Premium pula, ia merupakan model Proton paling premium setakat ini dengan harga RM102,000. Varian ini dilengkapi dengan rim aloi R3 bersaiz 18 inci dan kit badan R3 termasuk Front Splitter, skirt sisi, rear apron dan boot spoiler. Spring Sport R3 dan pelekat R3 ‘Blood Stripe’ turut menyerlahkan lagi penampilannya. Hanya satu warna ditawarkan bagi Inspira Super Premium iaitu Solid White. Model ini juga masih mengekalkan enjin 2.0 yang sama dengan padanan kotak gear CVT.

DRB x sepatutnya mletakkan produk proton dgn harga 100k keatas.meskipun ia berhak tetapi jenama proton masih blum stabil trhadap kyakinan pembeli.100k kebnyakkan bagi mereke better beli other brand .Paling mudah Suprima walaupun terbaik tpi d sebabkan harga Suprima gagal dlm jualan d malaysia.
Satria Neo – walaupun banyak versi dikeluarkan, namun proton tak pernah buat facelift pada model ni sejak ia dilancarkan pada 2006.
Rasanya kereta inspira dgn bodykit berharga RM100K ni pun susah nak jual. Inspira biasa pun hanya golongan berada je mampu beli. Ini adalah masa yang sukar untuk menjual produk jika harganya tidak kompetetif.
diharap proton dapat fikirkan cara yg sesuai bagi memastikan kereta mereka “berkelas tinggi” dapat dijual dengan baik di pasaran tempatan.

Satria Neo dah tua sangat dah. Macam nenek taruk makeup tebal-tebal. Tetap nenek jugak, takkan jadi anak dara.
Terlalu bnyk sgt kot versi/varian Satria Neo smpai timbulnya kekeliruan.Faceliftnya tidak juga kelihatan.

saga has gone through a major surgery with iafm+ with cvt., no big deal.
but neo just got cps engine with old 4spd mitsu GB thats all.

preve 1.6 can have vt2 cvt, why cant neo and persona. the good side of cvt is that they are prove more fuel economy to drive than the 4speed mitsubishi auto.
yes the up model is to provide a marked up loan.
other than that throughout the years cars has to be technically renewed.
i would suggest persona persona tand neo to have the same from the preve 1.6 iafm+ cvt.
and the higher end neo to have the cfe or cfe base engine non turbo but supercharged mated to 6 speed manual.

Exactly. Orang bodoh ajer meniaga taknak untung. Yang pengguna ni yang patut salahkan diri sendiri. Dah tau miskin, tak mampu, saper suruh mengada-ngada nak beli kereta yang diluar kemampuan? Saga SV kan ada? Murah pun murah, tapi tetap boleh tahan bagusnya.

Nak beli Proton pun sebab nak support proton (tapi taknak la sampai jadi mangsa macam kawan-kawan yang dah terkena), sebab tu dok tunggu-tunggu. Jangan ingat aku tunggu Proton sebab aku tak mampu nak abik kereta lain. Sekarang ni ketiga-tigak kereta aku bukan Proton dan aku takde masalah dengan kereta-kereta ni. Cuma aku terpanggil untuk kembali membeli keluaran Proton sebab terkenangkan pengalaman manis menggunakan Proton Wira semasa zaman student, langsung takde masalah. Tak pernah walau sekali kereta Wira tu menderhaka kepada aku, tuannya.

yes at 95k its ok, well it depends.
i used to own the car and it shown its unstable idling at 120k , the culprit is the idle controller, its plastic gear kaput.
genarally thats the main issue of 4G engine.
If that is the only main issue with the engine, then I guess we can safely say that the engine in those days are more reliable than that of todays.

if we are talking about handling , the neo will never feel old,
for the neo they can rework the interior to be a more sport functional, and of course the powerplant, as well as renewing the some bits of appereance for a refreshed look.
if we want to hook this sport hatch to suprima, the look should be a proper beautiful hatch,

can proton reprogram the cvt a bit, for initial pickup.
putting the L it helps but the final lowest ratio is not achieve , later on you have to select D.
altering the program therefore the cvt user will feel their lighter not sluggish. yes why cant.
Upgrade your ECU to the latest version at the nearest SC or you can just add PnP Volt Stabilizer (VS). I’m a CFE CVT user. Just google ‘VS Kechat’. reliable VS for sure. no more roaring sound, feels lighter, more pickup and better FC. And it won’t void your waranty.
i think proton should delay a bit of its cvt shift point.
its not suitable to use the word shift point actually in cvt system.
but thats the idea.
