Nampaknya SUV yang bakal dilancarkan ini nanti mempunyai DNA Lotus APX. Adakah SUV ini yang bakal Proton ambil menjadi sebahagian daripada model akan datangnya? Kita nantikan kemunculannya.. 🙂

mungkin yg sebelum ni mule aje kot, ni real punya design..
Roofline dia jelas Gen-2..Tapi spyshot kali ini memang lebih baik daripada yg sebelumnya..
Cuma rear wiper tu kalau guna yg embed pada cermin (dan cermin boleh buka separately) memang syok..
agak-agaknyer kalau Proton rebadged balik SUV & bawa masuk M’sia, rasanyer around 100-150unit ajer yg dpt dijual sebulan… utk survive setakat 5 tahun.. jumlah 6,000 unit ajer… mmmm.. harga jualan might be RM80k to RM90k.. enjin might be 1.8l or 2.0l..

As for the SUV, Syed Zainal said this is where Proton will have to be creative to survive.
“There is no point for us to spend money on developing one as the market will not be too big to support it. Fortunately, Youngman of China has appointed us to develop a small SUV for them based on our current platform and engine,” he said.
“We saw the outcome and we ourselves got excited. It is highly possible that we would buy the design from Youngman and use it for our own SUV. After all, it is our platform and our engine while Youngman has paid for its development.”
Syed Zainal said the SUV will be the size of the Nissan Qashqai/Dualis or Peugeot 3008, basically a soft roader to run around town rather than the jungle.
“We have identified that there is market for the this SUV in the Middle East,” he added.

a good thing is that, the SUV was designed by Proron…
our engine and platform , this is quite a heavy car..since it is said our engine ,i suspect this is powered by cfe unit.
and ,honestly it got the look. and for malaysian , the price its more viable if it is 7 seater configuration option maybe for this suv.

Saya prefer yg jenis 7 seater x pun 5+2. dan paling utama org boleh lanyak kereta tu masuk hutan. Eg: kembara.

saya rase paling cepat pun setahun 2 gak. Pasal Sekarang nh core market P1 adalah Persona, Saga & Exora. Suv kat malaysia ibarat niche market seperti Inspira gak. Sales x sebanyak mana melainkan proton buat global dan sales kan kat semua cawangan yg Proton ada.
tapi buat masa sekarang kitorg tengah tunggu Saga FL phase 2 kuar. X silap bulan 7 nh.
